The municipal district extends along the curved bay, where you can find the impressive "Peņon de Ifach", the Symbol of the Costa Blanca. The Rock is declared as a Nature Park and provides shelter for a variety of plants, like for example the rockrose, the germander or the Ifach campion.

The walls of this Rock are used for nesting by a lot of birds, including the peregrine falcon and a big colony of sea gulls. With 332m high, this huge Rock went right into the sea to the "punta de Carallot".You can reach the summit by a path, crossing a tunnel through solid rock, from which you will enjoy a marvellous panorama of the coastline and even seeing Ibiza on a clear day.The visits to the Park are limited, but you can always enter into the Nature Room with exhibitions, audiovisuals and information of the Nature Park.Near by the foot of The "Peņon de Ifach" you can find the former salt flats, which now provide an important habitat for different migratory birds like flamingos, herons etc.The most southern point of the bay is called "Morro de Toix",a small cape sticking out into the sea, forming cliffs and caves. The coast line is divided into the extensive sandy beaches of "La Fossa (Levante)","Arenal-Bol" and "La Calalga",the cliffs of "Ifach", "Toix" and "La Manzanera" and the coves of "Raco" and "puerto Blanco".
